Radon Test

What is radon?

A heavy gas, but also a Radioactive Decay Product which can cause lung cancer.

Why do I care?

Lung cancer due to radon is highly preventable at a low cost. There is no safe level of radon indoors, but incidence is significantly lower when indoor radon concentrations is lower than 2.0 pCi/L, while EPA (the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) considers it an environmental hazard that shall be corrected at levels above 4.0 pCi/L.

Why should I get Clean Air Dynamics to test it?

We have the most modern equipment, extensive training, and MN license for radon testing in addition to the highly regarded IAC2 Certification for radon. Our Continuous Radon Monitor is extremely precise and tells a very detailed hourly story of radon levels highs and lows. After evaluating the test site we study the concentration changes throughout the day and how they may be affected by the normal use of mechanical equipment, weather affecting temperature and pressure, or even daylight to determine contributing factors that should be taken into account when mitigating.
