Pet Policy

Our pet policy was developed to provide suitable alternatives for our tenants while maintaining a safe community environment.

Terms

A pet fee is required at a rate of $30 per month for each pet payable together with rent for the duration of the lease term.

No more than a TOTAL of TWO non-aquatic animals may be kept in the apartment at one time, but not two of each. NO exotic, feral, dangerous, wild, poisonous, venomous, farm or breeding animals are allowed. Types of pets allowed are dogs (small or medium, maximum adult weight - 45 pounds); cats; small birds; fish (maximum aquarium size - 20 gallons); rabbits; guinea pigs; hamsters; gerbils; small turtles; ferret; or similar. A complete list of acceptable pets is listed below and included in the Pet Policy Lease Addendum.

Dogs over 45lb. are allowed only on houses with over 1,000 sqft and private yard. A $300 deposit and $60/month fee will be required for each dog over 45 lb.

Residents are allowed to permit ONLY animals or pets as allowed in this Pet Policy. Pets may not enter the home without the prior written approval of the Eagle Properties. All animals must be properly caged or housed and Resident shall keep pet areas clean at all times. Pets are permitted in some properties as allowed by property owner. Pets must comply with all federal, state, and city laws, and must be registered in the city and with Eagle Properties. Documentation regarding the pet must be submitted as required (such as proof of spaying/neutering, required vaccinations, etc.).

For urban dwellings, the following captive born species are appropriate as pets or companions:
